It is a certification mark for the safety and quality of electrical appliances and electrical equipment in the United Kingdom. The Electrical Certification Authority of the United Kingdom was established in 1960. It is an independent national safety accreditation authority that can provide safety certification and other services for household appliances and controllers. After more than 40 years of operation, BEAB has enjoyed a high reputation in Europe and other countries in the world.
BEAB British electrical and electrical equipment safety and quality certification mark

ASTA (The Association of Short-circuit Testing Authorities) was established in 1938 and can provide safety certification and services for products such as electrical connection devices and components.
On January 1, 2004, BEAB and ASTA merged to form ASTA BEAB Certification Services., which became the largest testing organization in the UK.
In Europe, major world-renowned companies such as Sanyo, GE, Electrolux, Sharp, Whirlpool, Panasonic, etc., have applied for the BEAB safety mark to show the safety of their products in order to gain a place in the market. In China, many companies have already applied for the BEAB safety mark in order to make their products more credible and more competitive in the UK market, and to facilitate the smooth entry of their products into the international market.
