Introduction to American FCC Certification
The full name of FCC is Federal Communications Commission, and the Chinese is the Federal Communications Commission of the United States. Established by CommunicationACT in 1934, it is an independent agency of the US government and is directly responsible to Congress. The FCC coordinates domestic and international communications by controlling radio broadcasting, television, telecommunications, satellites and cables. Involving more than 50 states in the United States, Colombia, and regions in the United States. In order to ensure the safety of radio and wire communication products related to life and property, the FCC’s Office of Engineering and Technology is responsible for the technical support of the committee and is responsible for equipment approval. Aspect of affairs.

Benefits of FCC certification
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulates the import and use of radio frequency devices, including computers, fax machines, electronic devices, radio receiving and transmission equipment, radio remote control toys, telephones, personal computers, and other products that may harm personal safety. If these products are to be exported to the United States, they must be tested and approved by a laboratory authorized by the government in accordance with FCC technical standards. Importers and customs agents have to declare that each radio frequency device complies with FCC standards, the FCC license. At present, the United States has become my country's second largest trading partner for several consecutive years, and the trade volume between China and the United States is increasing year by year, so exports to the United States should not be underestimated. The United States has strict product technical standards and import regulations, and understanding the US market access rules will help Chinese products further open the US market.

Type self-verification manufacturers or importers ensure that their products have undergone the necessary testing to confirm that the products comply with relevant technical standards and retain testing reports. The FCC has the right to require manufacturers to submit equipment samples or product testing data. Devices suitable for self-verification include commercial computers, TV and FM receivers, and FCC Rule Part 18 industrial, scientific, and medical equipment used by non-mass consumers.
FCC certification compliance
1. The party responsible for the equipment (generally the manufacturer or importer) tests the product at the qualified testing agency designated by the FCC to ensure that the equipment meets the relevant technical standards and retains the test report. The FCC has the right to require the responsible party to submit a sample of the equipment or Product inspection data. The equipment applicable to the declaration of conformity includes home computers and peripherals, civil broadcast receivers, super-regenerative receivers, other receivers of FCC RulePart 15, TV interface equipment, cable system terminal equipment and Part 18 consumer use Industrial scientific research and medical equipment.
2. The responsible party should make the following marks on the device: ID certification FCC reviews the samples (or photos) and test data submitted by the applicant, and if it meets the requirements of the FCC rules, authorizes an FCC ID number for the device. Applicable equipment for certification includes low-power transmitters such as cordless phones, remote controls for automatic doors, radio-controlled toys, and security alarm systems, Part 15 devices that intentionally emit radio frequency energy, and Part 18 industries that are used by mass consumers. Scientific research and medical equipment, automatic frequency conversion receivers and super-regenerative receivers, TV interface equipment, and home computers and their peripherals.
3. The responsible party shall make the FCC ID mark on the device: Note: If a device is suitable for two or three approved types, the responsible party shall choose. Certification process compliance statement The product responsible party (manufacturer or importer) will test the product at the qualified testing agency designated by the FCC and make a test report. If the product complies with the FCC standard, the corresponding label will be attached to the product. The user manual declares that it is in compliance with FCC standards, and keeps the test report for FCC request. Application ID First apply for an FRN to fill in other forms. If the applicant is applying for an FCC ID for the first time, they need to apply for a permanent Grantee Code. While waiting for the FCC's approval to distribute the Grantee Code to the applicant, the applicant should hurry up and test the equipment. When all the materials required by the FCC have been prepared and the test report has been completed, the FCC should have approved the Grantee Code.
4. The applicant uses this code, test report and required materials to complete FCC Form 731 and Form 159 online. After FCC received the Form 159 and the remittance, it began to accept applications for certification. The average time for the FCC to accept ID applications is 60 days. At the end of the acceptance, the FCC will send the Original Grant of the FCC ID to the applicant. After the applicant obtains the certificate, he can sell or export the corresponding products.

FCC ID certification application method
Generally, there are two ways to apply for FCC ID certification:
1. Send the product directly to the TCB laboratory in the United States for completion. This method has a relatively high cost and time is not easy to control (high cost, not recommended).
2. Send the product to an FCC-approved laboratory to test, prepare data, and complete a report in the laboratory. Then send the test report to the TCB agency for certification. At present, customers mainly adopt this method. FCC ID certification can be checked online in the United States to distinguish between true and false.
